Coney Island Mermaid Parade

Coney Island's Mermaid Parade is an artistic and bizarre celebration of the summer and tribute to the sea. With rumors of some of the historic amusement rides closing, participants and spectators flocked to the boardwalk to celebrate the 25th annual parade and pay homage to mythical sea creatures.
